Scheuring Speed Sports announces Fan appreciation giveaway at all U.S. ISOC National events.

Scheuring speed sports, in partnership with sponsors AMSOIL, Polaris, KLIM, WOODYS, Scott USA, and other team sponsors will be doing a fan appreciation giveaway at each U.S. ISOC National event. “We will be giving away thousands of dollars of prizes during the season as a way to say thank you to the fans that come out to the races. Recreational Motorsports Sponsors 120 Program at ISOC Nationals

Recreational Motorsports, the maker of 120cc snowmobile performance parts, has endorsed ISOC for the 08-09 race season, and has committed to a $3000.00 savings bond award program. The bonds will be awarded for the 120 champ class at all of the National events.
Felegy Racing Signs with HMK

Hood River, Oregon – If you’re the type who keeps score you know that HMK USA products are used by some of the fastest snowmobile racers and most talented riders on the planet. You can add Shane Felegy and Felegy Racing to that list as HMK USA and Felegy Racing announced that they have signed a three-year sponsorship deal. Felegy Racing will showcase HMK outerwear at some of the biggest ice oval races in snowmobile racing including Eagle River and Beausejour.
“I talked to Kirk Zack at HMK and we immediately hit it off,” said Shane Felegy. “He gets racers, he knows what racers need and he’s all about supporting the sport. We inked a great deal and I’m really happy. It’s going to be a great partnership.”
HMK owner Kirk Zack agrees. “I’m super-stoked to be working with Shane,” said Zack. “He’s a hard-working racer and is totally focused on winning, and winning big. That’s exactly what HMK is all about and I’m confident he’ll win it all while representing us in a 100 percent positive way.”
Felegy has set his sights on a World Championship and is looking to make a serious run at it in the coming years.
“We’re gearing up to make a serious run at the World Championship in Eagle River so this season will consist mostly of testing with the Champ sled,” said Shane Felegy. “Signing this deal with HMK takes some pressure off me to secure a gear sponsor and it also adds to our great lineup of sponsors that includes Polaris and Aggressive Hydraulics.”

New Race Venue in Minnesota: ERX Extreme Motor Park

MINNEAPOLIS (September 30, 2008): The first of its kind motorsports park in the Twin Cities has broke ground and is set to go green December 18, 2008. Located in Elk River, Minnesota adjacent to Highway 169 on the outskirts of the Twin City metro area, the Elk River Extreme Motor Park (ERX) will offer snocross, motocross and more to starved motorsports enthusiasts throughout the Midwest.

Located on 14-acres of rolling terrain, ERX Motor Park will feature year-round action with a focus on grass roots racing, giving first timers and recreational enthusiasts a chance to hone their skills and more importantly to simply have fun with friends and family. Park designers are taking all levels of experience and all forms of racing including snowmobiles, motorcycles and ATV¹s into consideration as they design the track into the varying elevations that encompass the park.
“The idea behind ERX is to create a motor park where amateur riders can come out and try racing in a nonthreatening environment,” said Chris Carlson, co-owner of ERX. “While we’ll have the ability to adapt the track for professional level racing, we want to create an environment where everyday trail riders, clubs or organizations can come out and enjoy a day or evening of fun with their families.” To do so, the ownership team of ERX will keep entry fees low, track time abundant and offer something for everyone.
During the week starting November 15, ERX will offer open snocross practice on a professionally designed and built track, and the same will hold true during the summer months, when open motocross practice will be available.
Blair Morgan Fundraiser: “Operation Inspiration”

Chad Harris of HCP designs and Ashlee Painchaud are creating a tribute to Blair Morgan called “Operation Inspiration”. They are in the middle of creating a design in honor of Blair, and Chad will be donating his time to paint a personal helmet for every Pro Racer who will be on the line at Duluth with color and theme 100% dedicated to Blair Morgan.
