Debut Season for Midwest Snowmobile Racing Association

The newly formed Midwest Snowmobile Racing Association, or MSRA is pleased to announce the launch of a new and exciting snowmobile racing circuit. Created with a storied tradition of racing, melded with a new way of thinking, the circuit will be running Hill Cross, Hill Drags, as well as 120X races at every event.
The ORA is Here to Stay, 2009-10 Schedule Released

The Oval Racers Alliance, otherwise known as ORA, has officially released their 2009-2010 race season schedule. In their inaugural season, the ORA will host three races featuring both modern and vintage snowmobiles.
IWA Season Wraps Up in Wausau, WI

Wausau, Wisconsin played host to International Watercross Association’s last race of the season over the August 29th weekend. Although weather was close to miserable on Saturday it didn’t stop the IWA from putting on an awesome show which included an intense race for the Pro Open Points Championship, a mechanics race and even attracted a visit from the Food and Travel Networks Andrew Zimmern.
WSA Hill X Season Wrap Up at Spirit Mountain

Van Strydonk Sets New Eagle River Record

Beau Van Strydonk, of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, set a new record at this year’s 46th Annual World Championship Snowmobile Derby. After winning five classes, Van Strydonk broke the previous held record of four class wins in a Derby weekend, coincidentally held by his cousin Nick Van Strydonk.
Fjerstad and Van Strydonk Fast at Friday Night Thunder

Besides the World Championship race on Sunday afternoon, Friday Night Thunder is arguably the high light of the Eagle River Snowmobile Derby. The evening started off with the Semi-Pro Champ class. Joey Fjerstad, of Minneapolis, Minn., got a great hole shot and established an early lead. Fast on his Polaris, it became clear the rest of the field would have to run hard to catch him.
Ask and You Shall Recieve

Ask and you shall receive. With temperatures above freezing putting the track in peril, Saturday night racing under the lights was cut short early. Perhaps too many of us were hoping too much for cooler conditions on Sunday, because they certainly came. Despite freezing temperatures and close to 50 mile per hour winds, the race hosted by WSA Pro-Ice Racing and the Rock Rapids Sno-Lyons in Rock Rapids, Iowa continued on. [Read more]
First win to Wahl in Beausejour

With names like Wahl, Moyle, Wanderscheid and Bewcyk in the line up, you know your in for a good day of racing. The cold and windy Sunday started with round one of Pro Champ 440 racing. Malcolm Chartier, PJ Wanderscheid and Brandon Johnson each won their heat races, not a bad way to start off.
