Avalanche Racing & 139 Designs Unveil New Sled Graphics

September 9, 2008

Chicago, IL - September 9, 2008 - Avalanche Racing unveiled their phenomenal new graphics package for this years race sled courtesy of 139 Designs at Haydays. Chris Ackerman – Owner of 139 Designs sought out Avalanche Racing for this years sled design because as he said “Avalanche Racing is a high profile race team plus they do an excellent job of promoting their sponsors. We knew they would be an excellent way to break into snocross in a big way.”

This is obviously a mutual admiration club as Bonnie Glefke – Avalanche Racing Team Owner said “We could not be happier with the look 139 Designs did for us. We wanted to stand out from the crowd with this year’s sled graphics and the crew at 139 Design delivered that and more. We can’t wait to show off their handy work on the track! We are proud to have them aboard as one of our outstanding sponsors. ”

Use plastic skis, he warned, and the next time you have a hard landing your ski might snap right in front of the spindle and spear into the ground. He’d seen it happen, he claimed, and then proudly announced that he was sticking with steel skis forever. [Read more]
