In the capable hands of Team Arctic’s Glenn Hall of Gordon, Wis., and Scott Moser of Lowville, N.Y., the CFR 800 nailed commanding wins in both the Stock 800 and Open Stock classes at the famed summer event in Forest Lake, Minn., effectively ending any debate about which brand owns the big classes. After 2 seasons of second place finishes Team Elite Motorsports wins it all!
Team drivers Pete Edwards and Owner/ Driver Jack Gligora have just wrapped up a dream season on the asphalt with the 2005 Ski Doo Factory Mod sled!
MAY 2008 – Team Elite started the asphalt drag racing season in second place for the first few weeks of the season. That was all that was needed for the team to gel and get focused on the end goal – the CHAMPIONSHIP! The team remained in FIRST place for the remainder of the season.
JULY 2008 – The team won the IHRA/ NYIRP Mid Season Championship for the second time in 3 years. Also in July, the team traveled to ESTA Safety Park in Cicero, NY and went rounds at the National Pro Sled Shootout. The team also went rounds at the ELITE MOTORSPORTS sponsored Bike and Sled Shootout at NYIRP.
Nine Wins for Yamaha in Snowmobile Grass Drags

Yamaha snowmobiles stole the show with nine pro wins at three different grass-drag events in Minnesota, New York and Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21. Most importantly, Hauck Power Sports driver Jim Jones gave the new 2009 FX Nytro XTX its first pro-racing victory at the third round of the 2008 NSRA grass-drag series in Douglas, Minn., then added three more victories on Apex and Nytro machines. Greg Omasta also contributed three wins for Yamaha on his Apex and modified SRX sleds in Ohio, New York, while Bryan Eckel racked up a pair of wins on his Apex and RS Vector in Presque Isle, Penn.

The 42nd annual Sno-Barons HayDays Grass Drags are in the books after an exciting weekend of Racing in Columbus, MN September 6-7. All the big names were on hand to race their sleds in front of record crowds at what is considered to be the biggest snowmobile event each year…. Haydays!
